Kevin Penson is a United States Navy Military Veteran & PTSD permanently disabled survivor who has served his country for 20 years in Operation Desert Strike and Operation Enduring Freedom including various campaigns ranging from Iraq to Afghanistan Saudi Arabian Theatre in the Middle East respectfully. BBQ was a voluntary collateral duty that he had a passion for because he realized through good food he could unify hearts and minds through sustenance. After seeing the positive motivation rendered through his shipmates he duplicated the service with each new duty station for nearly all of his 20 years of service spanning the globe from the United States, Europe, To Japan. His journey has returned him home to Sienna Plantation where his father resides and where he has returned home on leave so many Thanksgivings, & Christmases’ to recharge and redeploy. Now with his family of four, including his Japanese wife, a set of twins, and a his oldest son of nine; he has embodied the true patronage of diversity and returned back home to pay it forward in one of the most diverse communities in the United States. God has returned him home to Sienna Plantation and he triumphantly carries his mantle forward serving his community.
